tin can be refined by Liquation method but copper cannot explain class 12

Dear Student, In liquation method the melting point of the metal in ore must be lower than it's impurities, which is true for tin but not in case of copper. Therefore, copper cannot be purified by liquation whereas tin can be. Regards,
