Tina baked 3 trays of 16 cookies. After they are cooled she packed them equally in 4 boxes. How many cookies did she put in each box?

Totally number of cookies baked = 16 + 16 + 16
= 3 times 16
= 3 × 16 = 48
No.of cookies in each box = total no.of cookies ÷ No.of boxes
= 48 ÷ 4 = 12 cookies in each box
