Tine is making pancakes. She needs two cups of batter to make eight pancakes. If Tina needs to make 1200 pancakes of the same size, how many cups of batter does she need ?

Let the x number of cups of batter to make1200 pancakes.

So, 2:x::8:1200

Product of extremes =product of means

2×1200=x×8

x=2×12008=300

Hence, Tina needs 300 cups of batter for making 1200 pancakes of the same size.
