The correct option is B 20 m
The floor of Building A can be divided into three rectangles as follows:


Area of a rectangle=Length×Breadth

So, for Building A,

Area of the green coloured rectangle=30m×8m=240 sq.m.

Area of the blue coloured rectangle=60m×12m=720 sq.m.

Area of the red coloured rectangle=20m×8m=160 sq.m.


So, total area of Building A will be =(240+720+160) sq.m
=1120 sq.m.

The dimensions of Buiding B are as follows:


Now,
Area of Building A = Area of Building B.

So, 1120 sq.m=56 m×Breadth
Breadth=1120÷56=20 m

Hence, the breadth of Building B is 20 m
