Image size hi is twice the object size ho
hi=2(ho)
or, magnification, m=hiho=vu=2
v=2u, where u is the object distance and v is the image distance.
According to lens formula, 1v1u=1f
or 12u1u=120
or u=10 cm
Therefore object lies in between focus and optical centre.
