To paint a picture, 2 parts of colour pigment is to be mixed with 7 parts of base and then painting is done. If 35 ml of red pigment and 45 ml of blue pigment are used, then how much base you need to mix?
280 ml
35 ml of red pigment and 45 ml of blue pigment add to 80 ml.
As the color pigment and base are in direct proportion i.e., in the ratio 2:7 , let the amount of base required be ‘x’ ml.
Now , 27 = 80x
Which gives x = 280
So, 280 ml of base is required.
