To stitch a trouser, 1m 30cm cloth is needed. Out of 15m cloth, how many trousers can be stitched, and how much cloth will remain?

Totalcloth=15m=15.00mclothrequiredtostichatrouser=1m30cm=1.30m=1.3m

To find the number of trousers that can be stitched, we will divide 15.00m by 1.3m :

15.00÷1.3Quotient=11andRemainder=0.7

Hence, 11 trousers can be stitched, and 0.7m = 70cm cloth will remain.
