Given,
l=10cm
g=10m/s2
Let's consider h is the height of the cylinder.
The pressure at bottom,
P=ρgh. . . . . .(1)
The pressure at sides
P=ρgh2. . . . . .(2)
Base is square, so area a=l2=102=100cm2
Area of one side,
A=h×l=h×10=10h
So, Pa=PA
ρgh×100=4×ρgh2×10h
200=40h
h=20040
h=5cm
