Open in App
Solution

C1V1=C2V2

volume = 50 ml or 0.050 litres
Concentration = 3.50M or 3.50moles/litre
New volume = ?
New concentration = 2.00M or 2.00moles/litre

C1V1=C2V2

V2=C1V1C2

V2=350M×0.050Litre2.0m=0.0875Litre
This makes sense since the diluted volume will have more amount of water and thus the new volume diluted will be more than V1
