Solution

Tom has chocolate bars = 6

Number of chocolate bar gives to John =1

Number of chocolate bar gives to Chester = 1

Number of chocolate he keeps himself = (6-1-1)=6-2=4

Now, the fraction of chocolate bars did he give away = numberofchocolatebarsthathegiveawaytotalnumberofchocolatebars

=26(dividebycommonfactor2)=13.

Hence, the fraction of chocolate bars did he give away will be =13.
