Telophase II is the last phase of meiosis II. Here, the chromosomes which moved to the poles, become chromatin reticulum (thin strands of chromatin). Four new daughter nuclei along with the nuclear envelopes are formed here and the nucleoli reappear. Meiosis is now complete. i.e. one nucleus has divided into four genetically identical nuclei. Cytokinesis follows telophase II and involves the formation of four new cells.
