Solution

The correct option is A 29.5 ms1
According to the question, train A and B are running on parallel tracks in the opposite direction.

VA=36 km h1=10 ms1
VB=72 km h1=20 ms1
Vman,A=1.8 km h1=0.5 ms1

Vman,B=Vman,A+VA.B

Vman,B=Vman,A+VAVB

Vman,B=0.5+10(20)

Vman,B=0.5+30=29.5 ms1.

Hence, option (A) is correct.
