(a) Let the number be x

Twice of number =2x

According to question, 2x13=3


(b) Let the number be x

One-fifth of number =x5

According to question,x5=x5


(c) Let the number be x

Two-third of number =2x3

According to question, 2x3=12


(d) Let the number be x

Twice a number =2x

According to question, 2x+9=13
