XYZ is drawn with the length of side XZ being 4.7 and the length of side YZ is 8 cm. If Z is 65, then, what is Y? ( in degrees)

Steps of construction of XYZ:

Step 1:
Draw the base line XZ of the length 4.7 cm.

Step 2:
Measure the angle Z with your protractor. Make a mark at 65 degrees and draw a line from Z passing through the mark.

Step 3:
Draw an arc from point Z so that it intersects the ray from Z at a distance of 8 cm.

Step 4:
Name the point of intersection of the line and the arc as Y and join Y and X the XYZ is complete, as shown below.

Now, from the above construction the measure of Y is 35 and X is 80.
