1. Submerged plants are the plants that are fixed to the soil underwater and submerged. Example Hydrilla.
2. The root is not well developed as the plants are completely submerged in water.
3. The stem is thin, soft, and spongy and has air cavities.
4. Leaves are thin, narrow, and long so that water can easily flow without damaging them. They offer the least water resistance.
