Solution

The correct option is A The presence of more aldosterone
Aldosterone is a steroid hormone. It plays a central role in the regulation of blood pressure of the distal tubules and collecting ducts of the nephron, causing increase in reabsorption of sodium ions and water into the blood. Aldosterone stimulates the secretion of potassium ions into lumen of collecting duct. It stimulates secretion of H+ ions, regulating plasma bicarbonate (HCO3) levels and its acid/base balance.
