Seeds are produced by all flowering plants but differs in the way these are produced. While in angiosperms the seeds are enclosed, in gymnosperms these are naked. Irrespective of this, seeds performs several functions and key functions are nourishment for the embryo and disperals of plants. The structure of the seeds helps in its dispersal.
