Finding the probability that the drawn counter is green:

There are 24 counters placed in a bag, so the total outcome is 24.

In the bag, there are 6 green counters.

So the favorable outcomes are 6.

The formula for the probability is expressed as,

Probability=NumberoffavorableoutcomesTotalnumberofoutcomes

Substitute the number of favorable outcomes as 6 and the total number of outcomes as 24.

Pgreen=624Pgreen=14

Hence, the probability of a counter which is green from a bag of 24 counters is 14.
