Solution

The correct option is A

Rs. 27,000

Given that Vivek’s annual salary is Rs. 1.44 lacs. Therefore, monthly salary of Vivek = Rs. 12,000.

Also given that Jaya’s monthly salary is 60% of Vivek’s monthly salary. Therefore, Jaya’s monthly salary = 60% of 12000 = Rs. 7200

So, Jaya’s annual salary = 12 × 7200 = Rs. 86400

And given that 20% of Sanju’s annual salary = 75% of Jaya’s annual salary

So 15 of Sanju’s annual salary=75100 × 86400

Therefore, Sanju’s annual salary =75100 × 86400 × 5 = Rs. 324000

So, Sanju’s monthly salary =32400012 = Rs.27000
