The correct option is D 10 and 5
Let the number be x and y
First equation written as
2(x+y)=30 ----- (1)
Second equation written as
x2y=0 ----- (2)
From equation (2)
x=2y
Put the value of x in equation (1)
2(2y+y)=30
2(3y)=30
6y=30
y=306=5
Substitute the value of y in equation (2)
x2(5)=0
x=10
Therefore number are 10 and 5
