Question

Two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are(5x+65)^0 and
(85-2x)^0. Find the measure of each angle of a parallelogram

Open in App
Solution

The measures of the adjacent angles of a parallelogram add up to be 180 degrees, or they are supplementary.

Therefore, (5x+65)+(85-2x) = 180
150+3x = 180
x = 10

Therefore 5x+65 = 115 degrees

and 85-2x = 85-20 = 65 degrees
