The problem will be solved using the property of parallelogram that the opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal. Suppose we have a parallelogram $A B C D$ , then:
$A B = C D = 4.5 cm$ and
$B C = A D = 3 cm$
Perimeter of parallelogram $= 2 (A B + B C) = 2 (4.5 + 3) cm$
$= 15 cm$
