Two angles are called supplementary angles if their sum is 180 $^{\circ}$ .

So 30 $^{\circ}$ + 2x = 180 $^{\circ}$

2x = 180 $^{\circ}$ - 30 $^{\circ}$

2x = 150 $^{\circ}$

x = 75 $^{\circ}$
