We have,

$M ∠ D B C = 50^{o}$
$M ∠ A B C = 90^{o}$
$∴ ∠ D B A$ and $∠ A B C$ are supplementary angles.
$∴ M ∠ D B A + M ∠ D B C = 90^{o}$
