Two angles are making a linear pair. If one of them is one-third fo the other, then find the angles.

    Let one angle be x. It is given that the other angle is one-third of first.
    So, other angle will be 13x.
    Again given that both the angle are making a linear pair so their sum will be 180
    x+13x=1802x+x3=1804x3=180x=180×34x=135
    Hence, the angles are 135and 13×135, i.e. 135and 45
