If two angles form a linear pair, then the sum of the degree measure of the angles is $180^{o}$ .
Let $x$ be the measure of the smaller angle.
Then,
$2 x$ is the measure of the other angle.
So,
$x + 2 x = 180^{o}$
$3 x = 180^{o}$
$x = 60^{o}$
The measures of the angles are $60^{o}$ and $120^{o}$ .
