Relative acceleration between the balls is zero.
Bodies are moving with constant velocities w.r.t each other.
Considering B to be at rest and finding VAB velocity of A w.r.t B.

VAB=(20+20sin30)^i+(20cos30)^jVAB=30^i+103^j and the angle made with the horizontal is
tanθ=10330θ=30

Shortest distance between the balls BC=ABsin30=100(12)=50 m

Hence option B is the correct answer
