Question

Solution

The correct option is A 5 m/s and +2 m/s
Before collision,
vA=2 m/s, vB=5 m/s
If masses are equal and collision is elastic, then velocity gets exchanged.

Hence after collision,
vAvB and vBvA
vA=5 m/s and vB=2 m/s
Option (a) is correct.
