The correct option is A Straight line passing through origin
Let the initial velocity of the balls be u1 and u2 (upwards) respectively.
Also the acceleration of the balls a1=g a2=g
Relative acceleration of ball 1 w.r.t 2 a12=a1a2=0
Initial velocity of 1 w.r.t 2 u12=u1u2 (upwards)
Using S12=u12ta12t22
Distance between them S12=(u1u2)t
Thus S-t graph will be a straight line having a slope (u1u2) passing through origin.
