Then as per the given statement form equations,
$2x+3y=8$ ----- (1)
$3x+6y=15$ ----- (2)
Multiply the equation (1) by 3 and equation (2) by 3 and then subtract the equations (3) and (4), we get
$6x+9y=24$ -----(3)
$6x+12y=30$ -----(4)

$y=2$
Substitute the value of y in equation (1),
$2x+3y=8$
$2x+3\left(2\right)=8$
$2x=86$
$x=\frac{2}{2}=1$
