The correct option is C 14 volts
We can redraw the circuit as shown below.

So. the voltmeter will record the magnitude of net emf of the combination of the two cells i.e. Eeq across points A and B.

Now, for parallel combination of cells,

Eeq=(Er)(1r)=182+12112+1=9+1232

Eeq=14 volts

So the voltmeter will read 14 volts.
