Solution

The correct option is D 0.25% loss
Let C.P. of each bicycle is Rs. 100
For 1st bicycle
Gain =5%
Then C.P=S.P.×100Gainpercentage
3990×100100+5
399000105 Rs. 3800

For 2nd bicycle
Loss =5%
Then C.P=3990×1001005
39900095 Rs. 4200

S.P of two bicycle =3990×2= Rs. 7980
C.P. of two bicycle =3800+4200= Rs. 8000
Loss=C.PS.P.=80007980= Rs. 20
Loss %=207980×100
100399=0.25 %
