Two blocks A (20 kg ) and B (50 kg ) lying on a friction less table are connected by a light string. The system is pulled horizontally with an acceleration of 2 $m / s^{2}$ by a force F and B. What is the tension in the string?

In FBD of block A, The tension in the string(T) is the only force on blok which produce an acceleration of $(2 m / s^{2}) i n i t .$
So, $T = m a = 20 \times 2 = 40 N$
