solving (1) and (2)

$m_{1}g\sin {37}^o-m_{2}g\sin {53}^o=a(m_1+m_2)$

$100\times 10\times 0.6-50\times 10\times a8=a(100+30)$

$600-400=150a$

$200=150a$

$a=\frac{200}{150}$

$a=1.33m/s^2$
