The correct option is A 4mg32 N
By the FBD of mass m:

R1=mg cos 45
Tmg sin 45=ma ...(i)

By the FBD of mass 3m:

R2=2mg cos 45
2mg sin 45T=2ma ...(ii)

Adding both the equation (i) and (ii)
We get, 2mg2mg2=3ma

a=g32 m/s2

Substituting the value of a in either of the equation (i) and (ii)

Tmg sin 45=ma

T=m×g32+mg2

T=4mg32 N

Hence option A is the correct answer.
