Let ‘ m’ be the mass of the body A or B and g be the acceleration due to gravity. Then:

Potential energy of A = m x g x 20

Potential energy of B = m x g x 30

The ratio of these potential energies = m x g x 20: m x g x 30

= 20 : 30

= 2 : 3.
