The correct option is B 50t m
Taking the reference axis for bomb as shown in figure, the acceleration of bombs is given as,
aA=g m/s2 ^j
aB=g m/s2 ^j
hence relative acceleration between bombs given as,
acceleration of A w.r.t B
aAB=aAaB=0
Similarly,
velocity of A w.r.t B is,
vAB=vAvB
From the figure we can see that angle between vA & vB is 90
|vAB|=302+402=50 m/s
Separation between the bombs after t=1 s is:
S=|vAB|×t
S=50×t=50t m
Where S is the relative distance between bombs or separation between them.
