Bulb A glows but B does not glow

Both the bulbs are connected in parallel through switches $S_1$ and $S_2$. In a parallel operation, there is an independent operation of each load. As from the figure, switch $S_2$ is open therefore no current will flow in bulb B and hence it will not glow but since switch $S_1$ is closed so current will flow in bulb A and hence it will glow.
