Let, Emf of one cell is E1=1.25V,
Emf of other cell is E2=0.75V
'r' be the internal resistance of both the cells,
r=r1=r2 ......................(since, both the cells have equal internal resistance)
Both the cells are connected in parallel, hence the effective emf is
Eeff=E1r1+E2r2

Eeff=E1r2+E2r1r1+r2

Eeff=E1r+E2rr+r

Eeff=rE1+E22r

Eeff=E1+E22

Eeff=1.25+0.752
Eeff=22=1V
