(f) If one chamber has a Ψ of – 2000 kPa, and the other – 1000 kPa, which is the chamber that has the higher Ψ?

1) It is defined as the potential energy of water per unit volume with respect to pure water.

2)At standard temperature and pressure, the water potential of pure water is zero by convention. T hus athus more negative value denotes less water potential. So -1000 kPa will be considered to have higher water potential.
