Solution

The correct option is C Photosynthesis and transpiration
Chloroplast is present in the leaves which helps in synthesis of food by the process of photosynthesis. Chloroplasts contain a green pigment, chlorophyll that absorbs light energy for photosynthesis. Tiny pores called stomata are present on the underside of the leaf surface. This stomata helps in transpiration of water in the air in the form of vapor.
Thus, the correct answer is option B.
