The correct option is D 24 cm
The distance between centres of 2 circles = 6 cm.
Sum of areas of 2 circles = 180 π
πr21+πr22=180πr21+r22=180(i)

and distance between centres i.e.
r1r2=6r2=r16(ii)

From eq. (i) we get,
r21+(r16)2=180
r21+(r2112r1+36)=180 2r2112r1+36=180 2r2112r1144=0 r216r172=0 (r112)(r1+6)=0

Hence, r1 = 12 m and d1 = 24 cm
