Given, i1=2sin30t A ; M=3 H

Flux linked with the second coil due to the field produced by current in the first coil is,

ϕ2=Mi1

The emf induced in the second coil is,

|E2|=dϕ2dt=M(di1dt)

=3×ddt(2sin30t)=3×(30)×2cos30t

|E2|=(180cos30t) V .....(1)

We have,

E=(E0cos30t) V .....(2)

On comparing (1) and (2) we get,

The peak value of induced emf in the second coil is 180 V.
