The correct option is A become two times

From figure,

VA=kQR+k(2Q)2R

VB=kQ2R+k(2Q)2R

So, VAVB=kQ2R>0

VAVBQ (charge on inner sphere)

Also. VA>VB

Therefore, if charge on the inner sphere is doubled the potential difference between the two spheres will become two times.

So, option (a) is correct.
