Two cubes each of edge 6 cm are joined face to face. Find the surface area(ini cm2) of the cuboid thus formed

For, cube
Surface area = 6 x side2

It is given that,
side = 6 cm
And 2 such cubes are joined face to face.
So, 2 faces that is one of each cube are joined to each other and now they are not on the surface they are inside the new shape.
So, number of square faces on the surface of new shape =2×62=10
Hence ,New surface area of the shape = 10 x side2=10×62=360 cm2
