Two dice are thrown. Find the probability of the event that the product of numbers on their upper faces is 12.

Let E be the favorable event, then
E={(2,6),(6,2),(4,3),(3,4)}
So n(E)=4
Also sample space n(S)=6×6=36

Hence required probability is =n(E)n(S)=436=19
