The correct option is C 3
Let the number opposite to 5 be A and number opposite to 6 be B.
As we know that the sum of numbers on the opposite faces of dice is 7.
Hence, 5 + A=7
A= 7 - 5 = 2.
and 6 + B =7
B= 7 - 6 = 1.
Number opposite to face 5 is 2.
Number opposite to face 6 is 1.
So, the sum = 2 + 1 = 3.
