(i) A : getting a doublet
A = {(1, 1), (2, 2), (3, 3), (4, 4), (5, 5), (6, 6)}
Number of favourable outcomes of A = 6
P(A) = FavourableoutcomesTotaloutcomes
=636=16
(ii) B : getting a sum 10.
B = {(4, 6), (5, 5), (6, 4)}
Number of favourable outcomes of B = 3
P(B) = FavourableoutcomesTotaloutcomes
=336=112
