Total outcomes on tossing two different dice = 36
(i) A : getting a doublet
A = {(1, 1), (2, 2), (3, 3), (4, 4), (5, 5), (6, 6)}
$\therefore$ Number of favourable outcomes of A = 6
$\therefore$ P(A) = $\frac{Favourableoutcomes}{Totaloutcomes}$
$=\frac{6}{36}=\frac{1}{6}$
(ii) B : getting a sum 10.
B = {(4, 6), (5, 5), (6, 4)}
$\therefore$ Number of favourable outcomes of B = 3
$\therefore$ P(B) = $\frac{Favourableoutcomes}{Totaloutcomes}$
$\therefore =\frac{3}{36}=\frac{1}{12}$
