The schematic figure shows the temperature T vs time t plot for the two material. We denote the specific heat of materials in the liquid(solid) states to be CL1(CS1) and CL2(CS2) respectively. The correct option is B CL1>CL2 and CS1<CS2
Clearly, initial slopes show the temperature change in the solid state. As in 1st curve, there is a large change in temperature in the same time interval compared to that of 2nd curve i.e slope of 1 is larger so cS1<cS2.
Similarly, slope of curve 2 is larger in the later part of the graph hence, cL1<cL2
