Young's modulus of elasticity is
Y=FAΔLL
Strain produced due to thermal expansion
ΔLL=αΔT
Y=FAαΔTF=YAαΔT

Condition for no change in length of the rod is
Tension in rod 1 = Tension in rod 2
i.e Y1A1α1ΔT=Y2A2α2ΔT
[Y1=Y2, α1=2α2]
A1A2=Y2Y1α2α1
